    Each seat costs $2,020. When all of the seats sell out, the campaign will have raised about $500,000 to support the Stanley A. Milner Library Revitalization.

    Plaques will be maintained for 20 years, at which time donors will be given first right of refusal to renew. 

    Yes! You can put your name, a family name, a tribute name (in honour or in memory of someone) or even a group name (such as a community league or book club) on the seat. Seat plates will be business card sized, and allow for up to three rows of text (20 characters per row). The name or text for your seat must be confirmed by August of 2019.

    Yes! Seat selection will take place in 2019 with a first-committed, first-seated approach. This means that the sooner you commit to your gift, the earlier you'll get to select your seat!

    This campaign will be complimentary to all pre-existing fundraising campaigns and initiatives, and will stand alone as a unique campaign to support he Stanley A. Milner Library Revitalization. Donors who have given $500 or more (cumulative) to the Stanley A. Milner Revitalization will be recognized on the campaign display in the newly renovated branch. If donors also want a seat in the Theatre, they will have to make the additional purchase of $2,020.

    No. Options for payment include:

    • One lump sum payment of $2,020
    • Two pledge payments, starting in 2019 ($1010 in 2019 and $1010 in 2020)
    • Monthly automatic withdrawals as set up through our online monthly giving portal
    • EPL staff can arrange for biweekly contributions of $50+ through until July 2020

    All donations received through this campaign are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

    Yes! As long as the donations amount to $2,020, a group of people may donate and "buy" a seat. The group will have to agree on recognition, and charitable receipts will be issued to individual donors based on documentation provided by the group coordinator. For information about coordinating a group donation, please contact give@epl.ca.

    Yes! We will gladly provide a card to send to your recipient indicating that a seat has been donated in their honour.

    You can send in your payment or pledge form for this campaign one of three ways:

    Each $2,020 contribution will be eligible for the following benefits:

    • A custom engraved plate placed on your seat of choice (based on availability) with a name, quote or message.
    • Your name on a list of campaign donors displayed outside of the Theatre.
    • Your name listed in our Annual Report.
    • Your name on our dedicated page on epl.ca for the duration of the campaign.

    We are happy to provide you with the recognition you want! If you'd like your name on your seat, but nowhere else, we can make that happen. We are happy to work with our donors to ensure the recognition provided is to their liking.
