British Literary Manuscripts Online
British Literary Manuscripts Online is comprised of two collections (c.1660-1900 and Medieval and Renaissance) and presents facsimile images of a range of literary manuscripts — including letters, poems, stories, plays, essays, journals, literary manuscripts, chronicles, religious writings, and other materials — from roughly 1120 to 1900. It encompasses extensive materials related to major British literary figures from the Bronte sisters to Sir Walter Scott to Oscar Wilde.

Early Arabic Printed Books from the British Library: Literature, Grammar, Language, Catalogues and Periodicals is a full-text searchable archive of early Arabic printed books of folktales, pre-Islamic literature, Islamic poetry and prose, proverbs and sayings, language and lexicography, dictionaries, grammar, syntax, rhetoric, manuscript publication records, and periodicals.

Please Note: Freading has changed its sign-on method so you no longer need an Adobe Digital Editions account to use the app! If you are using the Freading website or mobile app for the first time since this sign-on method change, you will be asked to create a new account with an email address, password, your library card and your PIN. Once that information has been entered, you will be able to enjoy Freading books seamlessly without having to sign-up separately with Adobe.
These new Freading credentials will now be your Adobe Digital Editions ID and password to download eBooks on your computer for Freading and other eBook platforms.
Service Note: As of May 2023, customers with an Android device running the Android 13 operating system and above may encounter issues when trying to use the Freading app. The vendor is aware of this issue and is working to resolve it. This note will be updated once the issue is resolved.

Mazaam Music
Mazaam is a musical education game that exposes children to quality music at an early age through an extraordinary catalogue of more than 140 classical music recordings. Mazaam's catalogue includes recordings of well-known musicians such as violinist Angèle Dubeau, pianist Charles Richard-Hamelin and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. It also includes reviews from professionals like Booklist, Kirkus, Library journal, Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal, as well as reviews from readers found on Goodreads.
NoveList Plus
NoveList Plus is an online readers' advisory resource with over 200,000 fiction and readable non-fiction titles. The Prairie Indigenous eBook Collection brings together over 200 titles from publishers in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. This significant addition to the Alberta eBooks repository increases access to stories by Indigenous authors and writings about Indigenous culture, serving as the first of its kind in Canada.
Radio-Canada OHdio Audiobooks New!
Radio-Canada OHdio offers access to a collection of free French eAudiobooks including children's books, contemporary adult fiction, poetry and more.
Listen by streaming or download titles for offline listening through the OHdio App. Listening through the OHdio website is also available.
The OHdio App requires you to create or use a free Radio-Canada OHdio account. Note: The OHdio account is separate from a CBC Gem or CBC online account.

The Read Alberta Collection gives you instant access to more than 2,000 eBook titles and 42 eMagazine titles from Alberta publishers. The collection features a variety of genres including literary fiction, graphic novels, poetry, self-help and young adult. Titles can be read on all devices including desktop, tablets and eReaders. Internationally published titles in French are also available in this resource.
Theatre Alberta Library New!
The Theatre Alberta Library catalogue includes more than 24,000 playscripts, musicals, and periodicals. While the catalogue is searchable online, no digital resources are available. EPL cardholders can borrow physical items by submitting an Interlibrary Loan Request Form and selecting the Theatre Alberta Library option.
