No, the City of Edmonton Staff card is free!

A City of Edmonton Staff Card can be renewed annually with a valid, current City of Edmonton ID.

EPL will ensure that your check-outs and holds move to the new card, and the ME card will be cancelled. When you are no longer eligible for the City of Edmonton Staff Card, your ME Card can be reinstated.

A City of Edmonton Staff Card provides full access to all EPL resources. This provides greater access to EPL resources than does the ME card, and so EPL will cancel the ME card. When you are no longer eligible for the City of Edmonton Staff Card, your ME Card can be reinstated.

No problem. The Edmonton Public Library has a City of Edmonton Staff Card that will provide you with full access to all EPL resources for one full year by presenting a valid, current City of Edmonton employee ID and proof of residential address at any EPL branch.

City of Edmonton staff who are under 18 and non-residents in Edmonton are not eligible for the City of Edmonton Staff Card.
