    Under Donate Materials.

    As of September 2022, all sales accept Cash, Debit and Credit Cards. This includes Stanley Milner.

    Sunday Box Sales are offered at select branches. The cost is $10/box. Boxes will be provided by EPL and must close flat at point of sale.

    • Paperbacks, Kids’ Books, CDs, Audiobooks, Comic Books - $1
    • Hardcover books (including Teen), DVDs, Video Games - $3
    • DVD sets & TV series - $4
    • Special items - individually priced

    The Edmonton Public Library gratefully accepts donations of books and other library materials from the general public. All donated material goes to our Book Sales. Book Sales also provide a new home for material that has been weeded from our branch collections. Weeding materials that no longer circulate as they once did allows space for newer, more appealing and current materials, and is a critical element in maintaining useful and contemporary collections at EPL.

    The funds generated from the sale of donated and weeded materials at our Book Sales are used to enhance EPL collections and services.

    There are a number of variables taken into consideration when planning our Sales for the year:

    • Availability of the program rooms in our Branches.
    • Availability of event resources and adequate stock of Sale materials.
    • Consideration of conflict or overlap with other events in the City.
