The Edmonton Public Library Will Close Branches on Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m.

The temporary closure of all EPL locations is postponed by 24 hours.

EDMONTON, AB, Thursday, March 14, 2024 —The Edmonton Public Library (EPL) and Civic Service Union (CSU) 52 are engaging in further collective bargaining and agreed that the strike notice served by CSU 52 to EPL on March 11, 2024 will be amended, such that the new start date and time for the strike will be 11 a.m. on Friday March 15, 2024.

All EPL branches will be open for regular hours of operation on Thursday, March 14. CSU 52 employees at EPL will continue to work during this time.
