Video Games at EPL is a unique and accessible service designed for players of all levels. With high-quality equipment, multiple gaming platforms, and a wide selection of titles, it’s a space where both casual and dedicated gamers can explore, play, and connect. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to level up, enjoy a mix of self-serve access and staff support to make the most of your gaming experience.

Services

The Stanley A. Milner Makerspace consists of:

  • 8 Gaming PC gaming stations, each with 32” curved monitors, and height-adjustable gaming desks and comfy gaming chairs. 
  • 3 Console stations offered on two 98” TVs: 
    • 1 Xbox Series X gaming station 
    • 1 Sony PlayStation 5 gaming station 
    • 2 Nintendo Switch gaming station 
  • Xbox Adaptive Controller (XAC) - learn more about this controller for gamers with limited mobility.

Customers can book up to two hours of video gaming time per day.

Hours of operation:

  • Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Gamerspace - FAQs

  • The Xbox Adaptive Controller is a versatile hub, connecting external devices like toggles, buttons, switches and triggers to create a personalized gaming experience. 

  • Anyone! Gamers of all ages and backgrounds are more than welcome to join in on the fun. Some games will be self-serve and require no library card, like the arcade cabinets. Others will be self-serve and require a library card, like the PC gaming stations. Console stations are available for all, but you will need to show your library card to staff in the space to have access to a controller.

  • The controller is available for booking at the Gamerspace and the Shelly Milner Children's Library. We recommend calling ahead to confirm availability.
