Locked Library: The Book Case Transforms Stanley A. Milner Library into an After-Hours Escape Room

Edmontonians are invited to crack the case at the first Locked Library event, with proceeds supporting EPL collections, programs, and services.

EDMONTON, AB, Tuesday, June 9, 2026 – The Stanley A. Milner Library will open its doors after hours for an immersive escape room experience as Locked Library: The Book Case invites participants to solve a thrilling mystery inside one of the city's most iconic spaces.  

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, teams of players will race against the clock through the library, uncovering hidden clues and tackling puzzles in a fully interactive escape room adventure. Designed for both seasoned puzzle-solvers and first-time participants, Locked Library blends suspense, teamwork, and exploration for a unique all-ages night out in downtown Edmonton. 

Every ticket directly supports EPL’s work, so participants can enjoy a thrilling evening while giving back to a place that serves millions of Edmontonians each year.
