Feline Fiction Finders
Spread the paws-itivity!
We’re paws-itively thrilled to introduce our new Feline Fiction Finders! While working on plans to return to in-person classes and events, our dedicated staff have also been training fuzzy friends to help them out at our EPL locations. Their daily presence delights both our staff and customers, making the Library an even more enjoyable place to be.
From moving books to carrying Library Takeout bags, tidying up our spaces and participating in family storytime, these fur-iends of EPL are earning every nap, scratch and treat that comes their way. Each EPL location will have their own library cat and a trained staff member will oversee the care of the animal. Stop by your local EPL today to meet them!
Samwise is a rescue cat and has always loved visiting the Library with his human Angela, who is a Youth Services Librarian. As a very good boy, he was a natural fit to be one of our Feline Fiction Finders. Sam loves helping at our Highlands Branch and brightens the day of both staff and customers with his purr-fessional catitude.
