Edmonton Stories – Add an Image to Your Sound File

If you recorded your story using one of our Digital Storytelling Kits, you will need to add an image to your sound file and convert it to a video in order to upload it to Vimeo.

You can use your own digital images or those found online that have creative commons licenses or are in the public domain. To find royalty free images to use, see our list of creative commons and public domain media.

How to attach this image to your sound file:

  1. Save the image to your device. On most devices you can do this by right clicking the image and copy and pasting it into your photo folder.
  2. Open your sound file in a video editing app.
  3. Import the image into your video project.
  4. Place the image over your sound track.
