Edmontonians may request to speak to the EPL board on a specific agenda item. Please submit written notice to the Board Secretary of intent to speak by 12:00 p.m. one business day prior to the meeting.

Why We Are Collecting Your Information
We are collecting your name, mailing address, e-mail and, if applicable, title and the organization you represent for the administration and management of speaker requests.
How Your Information Will Be Used
We will use your information to process your request to speak and to contact you. If you speak at the meeting, your name (and, if applicable, title and organization) will be listed in the meeting minutes, which are posted online. Your name may be searchable online.
Speakers May Appear in Recordings of the Meeting
Members of the media may be present at the meeting and may take images, video or audio recordings. If you speak at the meeting you may appear in images, video or audio recordings of the meeting.

Your personal information is being collected under the authority of section 33(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act ("FOIP Act"). The personal information you provide to the Edmonton Public Library (EPL) will be used for the administration and management of speaker requests at Board meetings. The use and disclosure of your personal information is managed in accordance with FOIP.
