Q&A with Fahad Mughal
What is your favourite library memory or experience?
While working in downtown, I volunteered with ERIEC and mentored internationally trained professionals to prepare them with job search and interviews. I often had the one on one meetings with my mentees in Stanley A. Milner Library.
What is one book you think everyone should read and why?
The Tipping Point.
What vital role does EPL play in a thriving and vibrant Edmonton?
EPL provides space for book lovers and for people to connect and learn about technology.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?
I would be Hagrid from Harry Potter. As he was loyal, loving and compassionate.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned at your local library?
I loved how the most vulnerable people of our community felt safe in our downtown library.
If you could host a program at the library, what would it be about?
I would host a session on Automation & Artificial Intelligence and explain challenges and opportunities.
