What is your favourite library memory or experience?
Doing Baby Laptime with my kids when they were little.
What is one book you think everyone should read and why?
"Becoming an Ally” by Anne Bishop. It is a book that can shape a person’s understanding of how to be an effective ally in social justice movements.
What vital role does EPL play in a thriving and vibrant Edmonton?
It’s essential—for affordability, access to knowledge and resources and community connectedness.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?
Princess Leia—resilient, collaborative, and an advocate for social justice.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned at your local library?
That libraries are dynamic community hubs.
If you could host a program at the library, what would it be about?
A program that would bring together different age groups to create community connection, knowledge sharing, and reduce social isolation.
