Director, Branch Services & Community
Chrissy Hodgins is Director, Branch Services and Community Engagement. In this position she works in collaboration with the Director, Branch Services and Collections to provide direction and support for the provision of services to branches. She also supervises EPL’s Senior Advisor, Indigenous Relations and provides leadership to system wide teams to implement and evaluate customer experience initiatives through EPL’s Community-Led Service Philosophy.
She holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Anthropology from the University of Waterloo. Prior to her current position, Chrissy was the Manager of the Londonderry and McConachie Branches and served as EPL’s system wide lead for the development and delivery of services to newcomers. She started her career in Ontario at London Public Library, later joining Brockville Public Library as their Volunteer and Community Outreach Coordinator, and then as Coordinator of Information and Web Services at Belleville Public Library before joining EPL in 2015.
When not at work, Chrissy loves to travel, cook and appreciate wine as a level 1 WSET Sommelier.
