Community Expert Program

Hand Sewing Basics

The days of stapling and taping your pant hems are finally over! In this 3-part series, you will learn basic stitches, skills like hemming and attaching a button, and simple embroidery. Then you’ll bring it all together to make a beautiful hand-sewn flower.

EPL Community Expert Sharon Williams has taught sewing at sewing machine shops, Continuing Education, and in her home to adults and children. She is excited to pass on her love of sewing at a place she loves – the library!

Registrants should plan to attend all 3 sessions Jan. 9, Jan. 16, Jan. 23 at the Lois Hole Library. Maximum 6 participants. Registration is required for this program.
