Seniors and Teens Work Together

EPL has created an intergenerational pilot program and is having seniors and teens work together to create relationships. The pilot program includes the use of "Then and Now" kits, which help start conversations between seniors and teens in the Mill Woods community.

Mill Woods Branch staff is looking for hard to find vintage and contemporary items, and we’re hoping to count on you! If you or your friends and family members have any items to donate from either 1930-1969 or 2000-2016 from our list, we would more than welcome them. Items needed include:

  • Food/cooking
  • Fashion
  • Toys
  • School materials
  • Music

Seniors and teens together brainstormed a detailed wish list of items needed for the program. Please take a look at what the've come up with, and help us make their wishes come true!

Please note: the items need to fit in a suitcase.
