New and Improved EPL Website Is Here

We’ve got exciting news about epl.ca—it’s had a makeover! On Tuesday, June 25 we upgraded to a new version of the software that powers our website.

What's Changed?

Our Homepage

We’ve divided our content into sections, with clear headings and links for quick and easy access to our most popular resources.

Page Layouts

Discover related classes and events, items from our collection, online resources and more all on the same page!

Here’s a sneak peek at our new classes and events feed.

New "Explore" Page

A new Explore page lets you discover books, movies, events and more on our website. Browse related audiences, genres, topics and more by clicking on the category links shown at the bottom of each card (such as “Teens” or “Fantasy” under the “Poet Laureate Recommendations” example below). Or click “View All >” on the right hand side at the end of the carousel to explore more content.

The Explore page lets you browse the Library’s recommended content. Find what you’re looking for by filtering the categories shown below: Post Type (blog post, staff list, web page, etc.), Audience, Related Format, Program, Genre, Topic and/or Tag filters.

Once the website update is complete on June 25, 2019, you will be able to access the Explore page at: epl.ca/explore.
