Families First Edmonton
Families First Edmonton is a research project to determine whether delivering health, family support and recreation services in a coordinated way can lead to better outcomes for low-income families. Families First Edmonton seeks to determine the most cost-effective, efficient use of resources to proactively assist families.

National Council of Welfare
The Council conducts research on poverty issues and publishes reports on regular basis. It is a citizens' advisory body to the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development on matters of concern to low-income Canadians.
