Joining the Friends of the Library’s volunteer team is a sure way to grow your Library, impact your community, meet new friends, and have fun!
Our volunteer team is made up of people of all ages and backgrounds. We have retired teachers, committed business people, teens, and even whole families that come and volunteer together!
What do our volunteers do?
- Help with 2 to 5 Edmonton Public Library Book Sales
- Advocate for library growth by attending city council meetings
- Assist with special events such as seminars, author readings, and fundraisers
- Host a casino every 2 years to raise funds for the Library
- Help with other special projects
