  • Rosetta Stone, a language learning resource, now provides language learning in Chinese (Mandarin), English (US), French, German, and Spanish (Latin America).

  • The Edmonton History pages have been revamped with a new look, bringing together the diverse collection of local history information available on the EPL site. Changes and improvements will continue to be made over the next few weeks.

  • The latest exhibition in the Milner Art Gallery can now be previewed on the website. Form Unfolding is a collection of scuptures from the Edmonton Sculptor's Association.

  • The search bar located in the upper right corner of nearly every EPL webpage (including this one) has been changed. Now, rather than searching the catalogue, databases, and website, the customer has the ability to choose which of the three options they would like to search. This eliminates unnecessary results from appearing. As well, the option is available to search Google from this box.
  • Due to slow response times in the catalogue, EPL has created a "lite" version of the catalogue which excludes book covers, summaries, and reviews. It can be found from the main catalogue page in the upper left corner, and is called Catalogue-Lite. It is quicker than the regular catalogue.

  • More great news for audiobook lovers. EPL has created an audiobook forum. Discuss your favorite narrators, genres, and books.
